Privacy Policy
Effective Date: April 9, 2026 | Last Updated: April 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Advanced AI Lab ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, processes, and shares your information when you use our My Watermark application (the "App"). My Watermark is a watermarking application that allows you to add visible text and image watermarks, embed invisible AI-powered watermarks, and detect hidden watermarks in photos.
By installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the App.
Key Privacy Commitment: All image processing in My Watermark happens entirely on your device. Your photos are never uploaded to any server. We do not collect, transmit, or store your images.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Photos and Images
When you use the App's watermarking features, the App accesses photos you select from your device's gallery. All image processing is performed entirely on your device. No photos or image data are ever transmitted to any external server.
- On-Device Watermarking: All watermark operations — including text watermarking, image/logo watermarking, AI hidden watermark embedding, and hidden watermark detection — are executed locally on your device.
- AI Model Inference: The Watermark-Anything Model (WAM), developed by Facebook Research under the MIT license, runs on your device via ONNX Runtime. No image data is sent to any cloud service for AI processing.
- No Cloud Processing: Unlike many photo editing apps, My Watermark does not transmit your photos to any server. Your images remain exclusively on your device at all times.
1.2 Device and Usage Information
We automatically collect certain non-image information when you use the App:
- Device Information: Device model, operating system version, screen size, and language settings.
- Usage Data: Features used, frequency of use, and general interaction patterns.
- App Performance Data: Crash reports, error logs, and performance metrics.
1.3 Advertising Identifiers
We collect your Google Advertising ID to serve personalized advertisements and measure ad effectiveness. You can reset or opt out of personalized ads through your device settings.
1.4 Subscription and Purchase Information
If you subscribe to our premium service, purchase information is processed through Google Play Billing. We store your subscription status and purchase tokens locally on your device. We do not directly collect or store your payment card information; all payment processing is handled by Google Play.
1.5 Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not access your camera (the App only accesses your photo gallery).
- We do not collect, transmit, or store your photos on any server.
- We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or other personal contact information unless you voluntarily contact us.
- We do not require account registration to use the App.
